Cyprus to Pay for Sea Interconnector Only After Navtex Release
Cyprus maintains its position that payments for the Great Sea Interconnector (GSI) will only occur once Greece issues a navigation warning (navtex) releasing seabed survey work. Despite the assumption of a majority stake by French investment firm Meridiam, Cyprus's payment readiness remains unchanged. The issue is also discussed in terms of how GSI sales and navtex release could influence the Cyprus question.
