Cyprus to Receive 500,000 Vaccines Against Foot-and-Mouth Disease
Cyprus will receive over half a million vaccines to combat the recent outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease. Agriculture Minister Maria Panayiotou made the request to EU Commissioners Christophe Hansen and Olivér Várhelyi, who approved the request. The vaccines are to help contain the spread of the animal disease.
