Hotel occupancy in the Paphos region is expected to reach between 85 and 90 percent in August, according to Evripides Loizides, president of the Paphos Hotel Association, who told Cyprus News Agency. However, he warned of declining room rates and weaker autumn bookings, which continue to burden the tourism sector. Demand remains difficult, particularly in the coming months.
