Cyprus' trade deficit grows to 1.34 billion euros
Cyprus recorded a larger trade deficit in the first two months of 2026, as the sharp decline in exports exceeded the decrease in imports. Imports in February 2026 totaled 1.12 billion euros compared to 1.06 billion euros in the same month of the previous year. This reflects an adverse development in foreign trade for the Cypriot economy.
