Cyprus Trade Deficit Grows to €3.84 Billion
Cyprus recorded a growing trade deficit of €3.84 billion in the first five months of 2026, as imports grew faster than exports. Total imports reached €5.99 billion (January-May), while exports amounted to only €520.4 million in May, representing growth of 58.9 percent, though overshadowed by stronger import growth.
