Cyprus Upgrades Air Rescue Fleet for 2026 Fire Season
Cyprus is beginning the 2026 fire season with its strongest air rescue fleet in recent years. The Republic has 14 aircraft available between April 1 and October 31, consisting of nine fixed-wing aircraft and five helicopters, resulting from a strategic initiative from early 2025.
