Cyprus's Current Account Deficit Rises to 1.3 Billion Euro
Cyprus's current account deficit widened in the second quarter of 2026 to 1.30 billion euros, a five-quarter high, while the European Union as a whole maintains a surplus. The current deficit is higher than the 0.70 billion euros recorded in the same quarter of the previous year.
