Cyprus's EU Council Presidency Strengthens Maritime Voice
The Cyprus Shipping Union (CUS) honors Cyprus's role in strengthening maritime influence during its six-month presidency of the European Council, which ended on June 30th. Cyprus held the rotating presidency from January to June and then handed it over to Ireland. This was Cyprus's second Council presidency since beginning EU membership.
