Cyprus's Power System at Breaking Point: Two Power Plant Units Offline
Cyprus's electricity system faces significant challenges today and tomorrow after two production units – one in Vasilikos and one in Dhekelia – went offline. According to Charis Zavallis, deputy director of the National Energy Control Centre, a 105-MW unit at the Vasilikos power plant has failed.
