Cyprus's Schengen accession not on EU agenda
A European official confirmed that the assessment of Cyprus's admission to the Schengen area is not on the agenda of the Justice and Home Affairs Council on October 1 and 2 in Luxembourg. Instead, the ministers will focus on a general discussion about the situation in the Schengen area on Thursday, based on a regular report.
