CySEC prohibits investment firms from retaining interest on customer funds
Cyprus's financial regulator CySEC prohibited investment firms from retaining interest on customer funds deposited at banks. The new regulation follows a European supervisory position by ESMA and came into effect immediately, with previous CySEC guidelines being revoked.
