CySEC vice president moves to Central Bank of Cyprus
Panikkos Vakkou, vice president of the financial market regulator CySEC since May 2024, is expected to move to the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) where he will assume a position as Executive Director. This personnel change is part of a broader restructuring in Cyprus's financial institutions and marks another succession following George Karatzias.
