Danish Warship from 1801 Battle Found After 225 Years
Danish marine archaeologists have identified the wreck of the Dannebroge, a flagship of the Danish-Norwegian fleet from the Battle of Copenhagen on April 2, 1801. The ship exploded and sank during this significant naval battle. The discovery provides direct archaeological evidence from this historic battle for the first time.
