Danube Falls to Historic Lows, 1937 Shipwreck Emerges
The Danube has fallen to historic lows in Croatia and Serbia, exposing hundreds of square kilometers of sandy banks. The Serbian city of Novi Sad in northern Serbia shows several boats surrounded by stagnant water in a marina. The extreme drop in water levels has also made visible a shipwreck from 1937.
