Dead End for Minor Belarusian Refugees in Cyprus
The Ombudsperson for Administration and Human Rights Protection, Maria Stylianou-Lottidi, revealed in a report that minor children are stuck in Cyprus without the ability to regularize their residence status. This is due to objective difficulties in obtaining required travel documents. The children can neither obtain a residence permit nor return to their home country.
