Debt Settlement Programs Generate 747 Million Euros for the State
Debt settlement programs for overdue taxes and social contribution obligations generated 747 million euros for the state treasury from debts exceeding one billion euros. The tax office collected 647 million euros through tax debt programs, while an additional 100 million euros came from similar agreements for overdue social contributions. The programs enabled chronic debtors to settle their obligations.
