Desalination Plants Planned for Agia Napa, Mazoto, and Poli Chrysochous
Agia Napa, Mazoto, and Poli Chrysochous will receive desalination plants for the first time in the coming years. In parallel, negotiations are underway to increase the capacity of existing desalination plants in Paphos, Episkopi, Vassiliko, Larnaka, and Dekelia. The goal is to cover 100% of water supply through desalinated water by 2029 to combat water scarcity.
