Devastating Earthquakes in Venezuela: Over 1,000 Dead, Hope in the Rubble
Venezuela was struck by two catastrophic earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale, completely destroying areas near the capital Caracas. The death toll is approaching 1,000 victims, as authorities and citizens struggle to rescue survivors from the rubble.
