Digital Euro: ECB Invites E-Commerce Retailers to Pilot Tests
The Eurosystem takes another step in practical testing of the digital euro and calls on e-commerce and mobile commerce retailers in the eurozone to participate in a pilot program of the European Central Bank. The call for expressions of interest follows the selection of payment service providers (PSPs) who will participate in the tests. The project is intended to demonstrate the usability of digital currencies in real transactions.
