Dispute Over Press Card Issuance in Cyprus
The Cyprus editorial addresses a fundamental controversy regarding responsibility for issuing press cards. Cyprus is the only European country where a state authority – the Press and Information Office – issues press cards, while internationally this is the task of journalists' associations.
