Disy Chairwoman Demetriou Withdraws from Presidential Race
Disy Chairwoman Annita Demetriou has reportedly withdrawn from the competition for the party's nomination for the 2028 presidential election. This leaves Averof Neophytou and George Pamborides as candidates for the party's presidential nomination. The withdrawal followed a meeting between the three politicians at the party headquarters in Nicosia on Thursday.
