DNA Study Reveals Neanderthal Group in Poland 100,000 Years Ago
An international study has discovered rare DNA evidence of a small group of Neanderthals living together in present-day Poland approximately 100,000 years ago. The research is based on mitochondrial DNA from eight Neanderthal teeth found in the Stajnia Cave north of the Carpathians.
