Doctors' Association Pledges Fight Against Illegal Clinics
The Cypriot Medical Association (CyMA) announced on Wednesday that it would check doctors in unlicensed centers, while police in Larnaca are investigating two medical centers offering plasmapheresis treatments. CyMA President Petros Agathangelou said the association is beginning to register doctors in such centers and described the practice of 'quackery' as harmful.
