Doctors Charged in Connection with Mazonakis Death - Contradictions in Statements
Doctors Ioanna Gaka and Ilias Theodoropoulos were arrested by Athens police and brought to court, accused of negligent homicide in connection with the death of patient Giorgos Mazonakis. The prosecution identified contradictions in their statements and inaccuracies regarding plasma exchange procedures. An autopsy was also to be performed that day.
