Documentary Brings Cypriot Recordings from 1953 Back to Life
The documentary "Echoes of Cyprus" by Danae Stylianou will be presented on September 28 at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre as part of the 2026 Nicosia International Festival. The film is based on ethnomusicologist Nicoletta Demetriou's research into a sound archive recorded in Cyprus 73 years ago.
