Doubling of Athlete Support for 2028 Olympic Games
President Christodoulides announced the establishment of a National Sports Council that will develop proposals for setting up a sports state secretariat. At the same time, he announced a doubling of financial support for athletes in preparation for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
