DP World plans bypass route around Strait of Hormuz
Global port operator DP World, with presence in Limassol port, is planning a new gateway on the east coast of the United Arab Emirates. This is intended to enable shipping to bypass the war-torn Strait of Hormuz and utilize alternative trade routes.
