Driver flees after collision with protective bollards in Protaras
A vehicle driver damaged stainless steel bollards in Protaras during the night of April 8, 2026, which had been installed to protect pedestrians and prevent illegal parking. The driver left the accident scene but was later traced and arrested. The municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia filed charges against the person responsible.
