Driver flees after traffic accident involving British couple – man in critical condition
Cypriot traffic police in Famagusta are searching for a driver who hit a British tourist couple (ages 28 and 29) in the early morning hours of Sunday and then fled the scene. The 28-year-old suffered minor injuries, but her 29-year-old partner is in critical condition and is being treated in the hospital on a ventilator. Investigations to identify the fleeing driver are underway.
