Drone ban and increased security at EU summit
Police announced enhanced security measures for the informal meeting of EU heads of state and government on April 23-24, 2026 under Cyprus's EU Council presidency. The rescue coordination center has issued a Navtex warning and established a drone flight ban for the affected area.
