Drug addiction and gambling addiction have increased significantly in recent years in the southern Republic of Cyprus. According to Elena Zarouna, head of the Cyprus Information and Treatment Center for Drug Addicts (KENTHEA), large seizures of cannabinoids reflect a clear rise in drug use.
