Drug consumption among children from age 12 – Concern over addictive substances in Cyprus
The youth welfare center Agia Skepis has documented an alarming increase in drug consumption among minors in Cyprus. Particularly concerning is the declining entry age – twelve-year-olds are already showing substance use. The center recorded its worst year in 2025 and observes a shift toward harder drugs such as cocaine and crystal meth.
