Drug-dependent persons receive substitution therapy at home
New regulations from the Health Ministry allow individuals in opioid therapy (drug substitutes for treating addiction) to receive their doses at home. The new regulations on narcotics and psychotropic substances were prepared by the Health Ministry and submitted for public consultation. This is a first for such regulations in Cyprus.
