Drug Smuggling Through Mail Packages and Air Freight Uncovered
Customs officials at the Latschi mail distribution center seized a suspicious package from the United States on April 15 containing drugs that was addressed to a 23-year-old Cypriot. The recipient had been arrested one month earlier for receiving a package containing cannabis. At the same time, drugs were seized in warehouses of transport companies and in air freight shipments.
