Drug Use in Cyprus Tripled – Silent Epidemic Among Youth
The number of drug users in the therapeutic rehabilitation community 'Agia Skepí' has increased massively: since 1999, over 1,000 patients have passed through the facility. Clinical director and psychologist Tina Pavlou warns of a 'silent epidemic' due to rising drug use among young people. Over 73% of patients who complete the program achieve full recovery.
