Drunk Driver in Famagusta Sentenced: 145 km/h Instead of 65
The Famagusta District Court sentenced a 32-year-old driver to two months imprisonment with a three-year suspension, as well as driving license revocation for two months and eight penalty points. The man had driven drunk on the road from Agia Napa to Paralimni and significantly exceeded the speed limit—he was traveling at 145 km/h instead of the permitted 65 km/h.
