E-Kalathi app: supermarket prices rise instead of fall
The Cypriot consumer association found that products on the state-run E-Kalathi price comparison platform have become significantly more expensive since the last comparison. The investigation, which compared prices of 42 randomly selected products with data from July 2025, also shows a lack of competitive pressure among most participating supermarkets.
