E-scooter accidents surge sharply
Despite thousands of complaints, injuries from e-scooters in Cyprus have increased significantly, with 15 registered cases in 2025 compared to only two cases in 2024. Parliament is calling for increased enforcement and changes to existing regulations, while police have issued 5,000 warnings so far.
