EAC Plans Massive Battery Storage in Vasiliko for Renewable Energy
The Cyprus Electricity Authority (EAC) is investing 118.5 million euros in a large battery storage project in Vasiliko to reduce curtailment of renewable energy and improve electricity supply security. The project is scheduled to be completed by October 2028 and will work in conjunction with solar installations and self-consumption systems to optimally utilize green energy generation.
