Eastern Mediterranean LNG Hub Could Cushion Gas Crisis
The closure of the Strait of Hormuz has blocked approximately 20 percent of global LNG supply and driven gas prices 50 percent above pre-war levels. However, this opens an opportunity for the Eastern Mediterranean to create an LNG hub and export excess regional gas.
