ECDC Calls for Free HIV and Hepatitis Testing During Pregnancy
The European disease control authority calls for all pregnant women to be tested free of charge for HIV, Hepatitis B, and syphilis, beginning in the first trimester. Early testing enables treatments that protect both mother and child, which should also be implemented in Cyprus.
