ECHR Condemns Cyprus for Violation of Fair Trial Rights
The European Court of Human Rights has issued a judgment against the Republic of Cyprus for violating the right to a fair trial. The case concerns the lack of effective judicial review of a decision not to promote a judge. Cyprus must pay compensation.
