ECHR Ruling Becomes Final: Expropriated Land Unused for 32 Years
The judgment of the European Court of Human Rights became final after Cyprus rejected a request to have the case reviewed by the Grand Chamber. It concerns landowners whose property was expropriated in 1976 for construction purposes but remained unused for 32 years. The owners are now demanding compensation of 8 million euros.
