Economic sentiment in Cyprus rises, households grow more pessimistic
Cyprus's economic sentiment index rose by 0.7 points in July, continuing its upward trend. The improvement is primarily driven by increased confidence in the services and retail sectors. However, households are becoming increasingly pessimistic about their spending expectations, according to a survey by the Economic Research Centre of the University of Cyprus.
