Ecumenical Patriarchate removes monk from priesthood
The Holy and High Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate has removed Hieromonach Paisios Chatzigiannis from the Archdiocese of Australia from the priesthood due to ecclesiastical misconduct. The decision was made during sessions on April 20 and 21 under the presidency of the Ecumenical Patriarch.
