Education Minister Defends Modular Buildings for Schools
Education Minister Athena Michaelidou said on Monday that the use of modular buildings in public schools is not fundamentally negative, provided they are used to counter overcrowding or for teaching during the modernization of permanent school buildings. The minister pointed to areas with rapid population growth and schools with increasing numbers of students from migrant families.
