Education Ministry Seeks Solution for Precarious Situation of Support Staff
Approximately 300 employees in education support programs of the ministry are without unemployment benefits during summer months, as they are technically still employed despite programs being interrupted. The Education Committee of the House gave the ministry a framework with two main directions to find a solution within three to four weeks. Parliamentarians are calling for urgent measures to address this injustice.
