Education Sector Hiring Process Outdated Since 1989
The hiring catalog for the education sector, in which diploma-holding teachers must wait their turn, was already classified as outdated and counterproductive in 1989. Thirty-seven years later, this system still exists and is criticized as damaging to the quality of the Cypriot education system. A system change is considered urgently necessary.
