El Niño could become strongest ever measured
The World Meteorological Organization warns that the El Niño phenomenon could intensify further until 2027 and possibly become the strongest ever measured. With a probability of nearly 100 percent, the phenomenon will persist until February 2027 and will promote extreme weather events worldwide.
