Elam MP Calls for More EU Funds for Cyprus
The Elam representative Geadis Geadi called on the European Parliament to provide additional EU financial resources for Cyprus and other European island states. His demand came during a plenary debate in which the EU discussed its strategies for island regions, coastal communities, and outermost regions. Geadi emphasized that islands represent far more than a geographical peculiarity.
